The Liberté
Menu, 2017.
The Liberté
is a sophisticated patisserie and cafe inside the infamous Commercial Hotel. Built in 1841, it was one of Auckland’s first hotels.
In 2016, renovation began along with the reimagining of its iconic and traditional high tea rooms. The menu, steeped in the hotels history, features traditional pressed flowers from the hotel’s archives and colour palette gives tribute to the décor of the former dining hall.
